An un-missable masterclass

We're bursting with pride! We're so pleased to be able to offer this masterclass at the Art Clay World EU Conference.

It will be the first time Gordon teaches in the UK, and, it will be your chance to spend a full day with one of the top metal clay artists in the world. He will guide you through stencilling and metal clay construction, creating a unique pendant. Gordon is a incredibly generous, humble artist, and fantastic designer.

Gordon will share his technique of breaking down a design into components, which he then turns into stencils, allowing you to create complex designs; whilst saving clay. Learn about stenciling, shaping, and multi-part construction in this fun but challenging Art Clay Silver workshop. Participants will assemble and decorate their own Cosmic Honu (sea turtle) Pendant. Each one will be unique. Wear your beautiful pendant home, and you'll be guaranteed many compliments! You need some experience with metal clay for this class.

Gordon K. Uyehara currently resides in Honolulu and spends his time thinking of new things to create with metal clay. He is certified as a Senior Instructor with Art Clay World, USA and teaches metal clay workshops locally. Gordon frequently contributes articles and gallery pieces to Art Jewelry magazine and has a project featured in the book, "Metal Clay Jewelry: Projects, Techniques, and Embellishments" by Louise Duhamel. He has won many awards in local, national, and international art competitions. Nature, science-fiction, and music, are inspirations for his creations.
